Our house is nestled in the rural surrounds of Googong, located 10 minutes from the large NSW country town of Queanbeyan and 30 minutes from the CBD of our Nation's capital, Canberra. They are first and foremost our beloved family pets and enjoy the constant companionship of our three young children. They are both inside and outside dogs, playng with and watching over our ponies and each other during much of the day, but retiring to sleep inside with us at night. Our love affair with German Shepherds began with the purchase of a White Shepherd, Suka, in 1995. We then added a black and tan female, Eva, as an additional pet in 2005, and then our magnificent white male, Hugo, in 2007. We added our beautiful sable girl, Nola, in 2008 and haven't looked back since. We also could not resist adding our 'rescue' mixed breed pups, Zorro and Patch, in 2009. Our love of the whites stems from our first dog Suka, who impressed us with her distinct personality, devotion and boundless enthusiasm for life. Despite our black and tan German Shepherd, Eva, also being a dedicated, loyal and loving companion, we had become intrigued by the Whites. |  |
